Exciting Konfidence Swimologist ambassador news

I am excited to tell you that Little Mr and I have been selected by Konfidence, Europes largest designer and manufacturer of baby swimming products, buoyancy aids and UVPF sun protection clothing and wetsuits for children, to become their official swimologists. It’s an exciting ambassador programme which I am thrilled to have been asked to be a part of.

Over the next 7 weeks, Little Mr and I will be taking to the water to enjoy a course of swimming lessons with our local baby swim school, Swimtime and we will be using and reviewing a range of Konfidence products in and out of the pool.

I’m really delighted to have been asked to be a Swimologist as being able to swim is so important to me. According to an old fable, “You may study all the ‘-ologies’ of the world, but if you do not learn swimology, all your studies are useless.” This resonates with the Konfidence ethos and the trust and confidence they have in their products helping little ones to feel comfortable and safe in the water as they learn to swim. I was taken swimming at a very early age and became quite the water baby. Apparently I was able to swim a width of the pool (with armbands) before I was even two years old! Of course, being able to swim has helped me gain confidence in and around the water and that is something that I would like Little Mr to have too.

We are so pleased to have been teamed up with Swimtime, as we had swimming lessons with them last year whilst I was on maternity leave. It was a fantastic experience and I’m keen to get Little Mr back in to the water again to build on the foundations we set and to let him enjoy being back in the water.

We’ve been sent a fabulous bundle of Konfidence products to put to the test including the Babywarma, an Aquanappy, the Neo Nappy and the Roll & Go Changing Mat. The products all look really good and we’re really looking forward to testing them out.

We’ve got our first swimming lesson on Sunday, having missed the first actual lesson last Sunday due to illness so we can’t wait to get our hair wet and have some fun in the pool.
