Post holiday weigh in…

Well i’m back from Cyprus which was absolutely A M A Z I N G. The weather was fantastic, the hotel was brilliant and I had the best time. I’m going to write up another post about my holiday later in the week but need to write up this post to make a fresh start with WW. I gained whilst on holiday. I gained a massive amount. I gained 9.5lb! I gained more weight than the average size newborn baby! I am disgusted with myself to be quite honest as I didn’t stop myself shoveling in cake, ice cream, hot dogs, peanut m&m’s, sausage and bacon for breakfast, cocktail after cocktail after cocktail! I’m not proud of it and actually i’m quite ashamed of it. I’ve ruined the last couple of months good work and now i’m 10lb away from where I was 2 weeks ago. Gutted.

My weigh in day has now changed to a Tuesday so I will be starting a fresh tomorrow. Back exercising on the wii, taking Mikey out for long brisk walks, Aquafit and Zumba. I’m secretly hoping I can shift quite a bit of the weight this week and get back nearer to where I was 2 weeks ago.  I’ve got 7 weeks (7 weigh in’s) to lose as much weight as possible before my hospital appointment so I’m going to have to step it up a gear and be as good as possible but I’m seriously worried now that i’m not going to get where the Dr wanted me to be by October. Mega disappointment looming!

The damage is done! All I can do is accept it and move on and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Tomorrow sees the start of a fresh week, a new set of points and a new set of weeklies. I need to get this weight off and quick! Help? {sig}

    Im pleased you had an amazing time. I’ve always wanted to go to Cyprus.

    Sorry to hear about the gain, holidays are always difficult to eat sensibly, i guess it’s a chance for us to forget about everything and just enjoy ourselves. I’ve got one coming up on Friday that i’m dreading LOL.

    glad you had a great holiday.
    I have done ww and PP for a while now and have gained more than I would like on several occasions. My advice from past experience is:
    1. Draw a line under it, you will struggle to move forward if you keep thinking about where you were before. Concentrate on where you are now and the fab amount of weight you HAVE lost.
    2. All the usuals, track, track, track, water, exercise, whatever has worked for you in the past will work again
    I have sometimes found that when I have put on quite a bit in a short time, it does come off a little quicker than usual – good luck!
    (sorry it’s such a long post and hope I don’t sound too bossy!)

    Just wanted to say – despite the gain – FAB attitude! You CAN do this, and good on you for jumping straight back in :o)

    You faced it – IT SUCKED – but YOU CAN FIX IT!

    Not sure what this Hospital Appointment Deadlne is – but try not to put too much pressure on yourself won’t you?
    You’ve done amazing so far and from NOW your weight will be going in the right direction – DOWN – and I’m sure even your doc/the hospital will applaud you for that :o) xx
