My boys are big fans of Paw Patrol so imagine their excitement when I told them that their favourite characters were dotted around Birmingham City Centre and we could go on a trail to find them! Not only are there 15 hidden characters dotted around the shopping areas of the city but they’re made from toy bricks too! How brilliant, my boys couldn’t wait to go and track them down.
The Pups Save Christmas Trail features 21 characters from the popular television show, Paw Patrol, and they’re all made out of toy bricks. They’re on display around the city at popular shopping destinations including 5 department stores, 3 shopping centres, the Worlds Biggest Primark and the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas market. The characters can be found by walking the trail with the help of the trail map which you can pick up from The Mailbox (Level 2), Grand Central or the Bullring Customer Services.
The trail map offers hints as to where the pups and their friends can be found and asks certain questions about the character on display, for example, ‘how many bricks are in Everest?’ and ‘how tall is Marshall?’. Top tip – take a pen with you to fill in the trail map as you go.
We were Christmas shopping in the city centre on Sunday so took the opportunity to take the boys with us for some Paw Patrol trail fun along the way. We parked in the Mailbox car park and picked up our trail map and headed off armed with our shopping list to the shops.
My six year old took charge of the trail map and we walked around popping into some of our favourite shops and we even discovered some hidden gems along the way. Not only did we find all of the characters and completed the trail map, we managed to make a good start to the Christmas shopping too! It’s a brilliant trail for Paw Patrol fans and we saw other families along the way on the hunt for the characters too.
Completed trail maps should be posted in the Paw Patrol postbox next to Santa’s Magic Christmas star at The Mailbox (Level 2) near Castle Fine Art for your chance to win £250 worth of shopping vouchers.
The Pups Save Christmas trail is on until 3rd January 2020 in Birmingham City Centre. You can find out more about the #PawPatrolBham trail here.
