Fathers Day Gift Guide

*Post in collaboration with Braun

With Father’s Day just around the corner (Sunday 17thJune if you need the reminder) I’ve been thinking about the ways in which I can help my boys show their gratitude towards their Daddy. He’s always there for cuddles, high fives and smelly nappy changes as well as making breakfast, sterilising bottles and doing the weekly food shop! As well as the handmade cards that we’ll no doubt be making, Father’s Day is a day when we’ll be saying thank you with a few thoughtful gifts. These gifts will hopefully help him as he goes about his everyday busy life, to give him a little helping hand knowing that his two beautiful boys are looking up to him the whole time.

Braun ProSeries 3 ProSkin – Being an educational professional, Shilts is always wanting to make a good first impression. The Braun Shave and Style shaver is an industry-leading grooming tool that captures more hair in the first stroke allowing Dad to shave with greater efficiency and skin comfort. Not only can it be used wet or dry, the shaver is electric so it’s a product that he can use all year round and he’ll be done in the bathroom in no time. Whilst its not a cheap gadget, It’s Braun’s bestselling electric shaver – A German engineered shaving gift that’s received several impressive international awards, such as IF Product Design Gold Award, Best Electric Shaver Awarded by Electric Shavers UK, and Red Dot Design Award. Braun have created a product that combines state of the art technology with sleek design enabling Dad to perfect his own unique look in no time.

Prescription Sunglasses – With the sunshine making a rare appearance, a decent pair of sunglasses is something that Shilts uses on a daily basis. Driving to work in the morning or an afternoon in the sun at the park with the boys, these sunglasses will help Shilts look after his eyes all day long.

Fingerprint Cufflinks – Being at work all day, Shilts likes to dress smartly and often wears a suit. He wears formal shirts that require cufflinks and these beautiful cufflinks are the perfect reminder of why he works so hard. Featuring the fingerprints of his boys, he’ll proudly wear a pair of stylish keepsake cufflinks whilst in business meetings and on the go.

Alison Appleton Fritz Teapot – When Shilts gets ten minutes throughout the day, he loves to have a good mug of tea. This Alison Appleton Fritz teapot is a little luxury that will help him brew the perfect mug of tea. It has a flippy lip, it can be used with loose leaf and tea bags and would sit stylishly in his work office.

Twinings English Breakfast Tea – Shilts is a bit of a Tea snob and has his own favourite brand of tea where nothing else will really match up. I’ll admit it, it does make a really nice mug of tea first thing in the morning. This Twinings English Breakfast Tea London Edition is a black tea ideal for busy professionals who like a good strong brew to get through the day before heading home to the family.

Don’t forget Father’s Day this year is Sunday 17th June. How will you say thank you to the Dad in your life?

Fab ideas Emma — my boy has a beard so the shaver wouldn’t work for him unfortunately, but I love the idea of fingerprint cufflinks! Brill!
