I can’t quite believe where this school year is going. Olly’s been in Reception class since September and many of you will know it has been a very turbulent time for him (and us). He has made amazing progress since the start of term this year and not only have we noticed but his teachers and support staff have too. I’m a strong believer that they have played a huge part in his development and so it’s only right that we say thank you for all their help and support at the end of school term.
Saying thank you to those ladies and gents who help out our family is a way of us showing our gratitude towards them. It’s a way of saying we appreciate all their hard work and their support in pulling Olly through from a tearful, anxious upset four year old to a more confident, smiling and happy five year old.
Snapfish are my go to brand for all things personalised with a photograph. I love taking photographs and I love sharing them with my friends and family. They have a fantastic collection of products from prints to homeware, coffee mugs and coasters as well as canvases and calendars.
I thought it would be a lovely idea to combine some of my favourite photographs of Olly with a personalised coffee mug each for his teachers and support staff. We know how precious break time is for the staff and how often they crave a hot cup of tea or coffee before next lesson.
The ordering process was simple and quick to do. Once you’ve settled on which coffee mug to buy (there is a huge range!) there are hundreds of templates to choose from to uniquely customise the mug. I chose white coffee mugs with my photography and different text on the front, all of which you can edit and tailor to suit your preference.
Once I had ordered the coffee mugs, I thought that the teachers would appreciate a coaster to put down their drinks on. Again this is something that my husband would have loved when he was a teacher so he was our inspiration for these gifts. I love them. They’re so bright and colourful and the perfect way to say thank you!
Finally, we ordered a travel mug for one of the support staff customised with a photograph of Olly and some text reading ‘Thank you Mr Mills’, I really love it and hope Mr Mills will too!
When the products arrived, I was so excited to see how they had turned out. They all look brilliant and such clear vibrant photographs and text printed on them. I’ve filled them with some travel sachets of tea and coffee plus a couple of individually wrapped biscuits ideal for a break time on the go.
I think it’s a lovely gift idea for those staff in school who have shown such kindness and support and I can’t wait to give them each their gifts to enjoy over the Summer and beyond.
