Keeping toes cosy with Moccis this winter

Quality Hand-sewn Scandinavian Moccis Slippers

*This is a collaborative post

When it comes to keeping your feet warm throughout the winter months, you can’t beat a good pair of slippers. They’ve been a staple in our household for many years as living in an old Edwardian terraced house there’s always a draft coming from somewhere. Our slippers of choice this winter are Moccis; hand-sewn Scandinavian moccasins that fit like a glove and keep toes oh so cosy.

Of a weekend we love nothing more than a nice chilled out morning having a lazy breakfast whilst still in our pyjamas with our Moccis keeping our feet warm. We usually end up in the lounge under a snuggly blanket watching a film or one of Olly’s favourite cartoons and it’s just so cosy that we’re all blissfully unaware of the time or anyone else in that moment.

Moccis are not just slipper socks. They’re so much more than that. These quality, hand sewn, Scandinavian Moccis are super soft and made from machine washable leather so not only will they prevent slipping and sliding on hardwood or tiled floors, you can pop them in the wash at 40 degrees keeping the family’s feet fresh and clean.

Unfortunately for me, the male Shilton feet are notoriously hot and sweaty at any time of the day but thankfully, Moccis are made from breathable fabrics which helps keep feet warm and cosy yet dry and moist free!

We were sent a pair of Moccis for both Olly and for myself to try out (although my husband has ‘borrowed’ them on more than one occasion!) Olly’s wearing the Stoney River design and Shilts is wearing the Counting Stars design. They are a delight to wear, once you pull them on, they stay on. They don’t fall down and I’m happy in the knowledge that Olly will keep them on his feet, in fact he often forgets he’s wearing them, they really are that comfortable.

Moccis would make a fantastic gift for family or friends this Christmas, they’re a snug fit so don’t buy a bigger size but with a range of fun, fashionable Nordic designs there’s something for everyone. You can buy Child Moccis here from £23 and Adult Moccis from £35.
