Fox Hollies Family Fun Day this Saturday 15th July

*A collaborative post in partnership with Fox Hollies

This Saturday 15th July, there’s going to be an epic family fun day at Fox Hollies Leisure Centre in Acocks Green, Birmingham. Following an extensive refurbishment, the doors will be open to welcome old friends and new to have a look around at the new and improved facilities. There’s the chance to take part in lots of free taster sessions including swimming, junior tennis and football to name just a few.

There’s plenty of fun activities on for the children with opportunities for them to meet their favourite characters including Disney Princesses, Spider Man, Minion and characters from Frozen between 10am – 1pm. There’s going to be a bouncy castle for little ones to let off a little bit of steam as well as Mask of Art Face Painters between 9am – 2:30pm and balloon modelling throughout the afternoon.

There’s a full programme of entertainment and free taster sessions at Fox Hollies between 8am and 5pm, with something for everyone to get involved in and enjoy. It’s going to be such a fantastic day for the centre and it’s guests.

The character splash swimming sessions are really popular and it’s easy to see why. Imagine trying to stay up and get across a bouncy castle on the water with your favourite tunes on in the background whilst your friends try and do the exact same thing. Sounds like brilliant fun to me! There will also be floats of all shapes and sizes in the pool for little ones (and not so little ones) to enjoy.

It’s not just fun for the kids at Fox Hollies this Saturday, the leisure centre will be showing off it’s spin room with it’s vibrant lighting and ambient music, the state of the art gym with a huge selection of equipment including treadmills, step machines, weights and benches and its tennis courts which are sure to tempt the Wimbledon fans in trying out a game for themselves!
