#SlimmingSunday (Week 15 – 2017)


Welcome back to #SlimmingSunday, the weightloss, fitness and healthy lifestyle linky with me, MrsShilts and Michelle from Mummy From The Heart.

It’s been a good week weightloss wise for me, I was delighted to see a 2.5lb loss on the scales on Tuesday. I was weighed at my doctors surgery the day before and the scales were (frighteningly) way out so I was delighted to see the SW scales showing a more accurate reflection of what my weight was. We’re off on holiday this week so I can’t promise that I’ll be lighter when I weigh in on the scales in three weeks time, but I won’t be going mad but will enjoy a French croissant or baguette without the guilt on holiday.

Shilts had a good week at SW and was awarded the Man of the Year 2017 title in group. I’m really proud of him for sticking to it and losing the weight. It’s such a good motivator having someone else following the plan at home and it’s great to see his confidence get a boost. We bought some new holiday clothes recently and he’s enjoyed buying a size smaller, thats definitely something I can relate to.

Changes to the #SlimmingSunday linky

Michelle and I have been really pleased with how the #SlimmingSunday linky has taken off but we have seen a drop of link ups recently which is frustrating. We know how busy people are and with this in mind, we’ve decided to move the linky to a monthly link up rather than a weekly one. We hope that this will give people more motivation to link up and share their weightloss journeys and progress. Therefore, the next #SlimmingSunday linky will run on Sunday 2nd July and then it’ll be a link up every first Sunday of every month. We would really like you to join in and of course we’re open to ideas and suggestions if anyone wants to get in touch if there’s been any reasons why you might have linked up once or twice but not linked up for a while. We’re very approachable and would love to hear from you!

    I hope you have a lovely holiday Emma and can enjoy the delicious food! I went a bit crazy when we went away and came back with a 6lb gain…. oops! Feeling focused now though and hopeful I can shift it. Well done to hubs too, that is a great motivator. Thanks for having me in the linky and I will definitely be linking up in future Xx

    Well done on your loss this week & congratulations to Shilts on being Man of the Year. That is a fantastic achievement to lose over 2 stones since January. We only have 2 men in our class so it must be very daunting to start with being surrounded by so many women, although the two in our class are the ones dishing out their tips during the class now .

    I did link up a couple of times but I have been so busy lately that blogging was the last thing I wanted to do when I got home. Back on track now though. Good luck with your weight loss this week
