#SlimmingSunday (Week 14 – 2017)

My lovely co-host Michelle is still away on her holidays so it’s just me with the linky this week. I didn’t manage to get to weigh in on Tuesday evening as I’ve been poorly over the last week or so. I’m feeling much brighter this weekend though, it’s amazing what a bit of sunshine can do for you!

Donate unwanted clothes with the Slimming World ClothesThrow

I’ve been having a massive de-clutter this week, it’s something that I have wanted to do for ages but haven’t had the chance to get round to it. In hindsight, I’m a bit of a hoarder, keeping things for best, keeping things for just in case and for instances where ‘I’ll slim back into that one day’. However, I have been asked to be a Slimming World member ambassador for their latest charity fundraising campaign and it couldn’t have come at a better time as it’s made me have a sort out.

The Slimming World Clothes Throw is an opportunity for members to celebrate their weightlosses by liberating themselves from all their outgrown clothes and to donate them to charity. In conjunction with Cancer Research UK, Slimming World are asking all their members to pick up a purple donation bag from their local SW group and fill it with unwanted clothes. If you find a gold bag, there’s a chance to win the opportunity to meet Peter Andre for a posh afternoon tea too!

Each bag is worth up to £25 for Cancer Research UK so it’s definitely a good idea to have a good sort out and rid yourself of the past and donate to a good cause. I’ve sorted through both my wardrobes and my drawers to have a good declutter and I’ve bagged up over 5 bags worth and I feel so much better for having a sort out.

    Well done Emma, about a year ago I had a mass clear out like this and gave it all o charity but in truth I probably need to do it again! Mich x
