It’s Sunday which means it’s #SlimmingSunday here on Life According to MrsShilts. Welcome back to the new weightloss linky with me, MrsShilts and Michelle from Mummy From The Heart.
Thanks to everyone who linked up last week, it’s so good to read about everyone’s motivations. Whether it’s to get fitter, lose weight or just to improve your diet, I love how everyone is so different in their goals.
I had a good week on plan, I have been drinking lots of water and eating plenty of speed foods. Changing up my breakfasts and trying to stay within my syns allowance every day (except last night’s dinner where I did indulge in a burger but I was in control and it was delicious!) I lost 1lb at weigh in which was welcomed so another pound down. It’s just coming off so slowly now. I was really hoping it would speed up a bit but alas no. Can’t grumble too much as if I lost 1lb every week, I’d have lost over 52lb which is pretty awesome so onwards and downwards.
You might have caught this already this week but my very good friend Lucy (aka Mrs Bishop) was featured in The Daily Express. Lucy has lost a phenomenal amount of weight over the last few years and has slimmed down from a plus size to a svelte size 12. She’s absolutely amazing so if you’ve not read about her story yet, please do go and check her blog out here.
There’s 80 days left until I’ve got a pretty big hospital appointment so I really need to keep focused and remembering why I’m doing all this. You can find out more why I’m losing weight here. Lots can happen in 80 days and with the lighter evenings I’m hoping to get out more and even might start the C25k running programme again. I know I need to move more and hopefully, this will help! I’ve invested in a Fitbit in a bid to get me moving more. I used to love hitting that 10k steps marker everyday.
