It’s Monday and time for my regular Meal Planning Monday post. It’s another week in work and pre-school for us, we’re hoping this week goes a bit more smoothly than it did last week. We’ve changed our morning routine up a bit and so far so good, we’re all eating breakfast before leaving the house and trying to get a little bit more organised (remembering lunch, taking a bottle of water with us to work and prepping dinner or getting meat out of the freezer.)
Last week was a brilliant week on plan for me. I lost 7lb at weigh in and my husband lost 5lb at his. It’s really helping me having him following the plan too. I feel so much more supported when he’s not scoffing biscuits in bed. He’s doing so well and I’m very proud of him for making the decision to lose weight for our future.
We’re hoping for another great week on plan and have meal planned for the week ahead. We have plenty of chicken in the freezer so we’ll be using that up and cooking up some batch portions of soup for lunches and the freezer.

Porky Light Sausages (0.5 syn each) served with Mashed Potato and Vegetables
SW Burgers with Sweet Potato Wedges and Salad
SW Spaghetti Bolognese
SW Ready Meals (Working late and not much time to cook a meal)
SW Chicken Curry and Boiled Rice
Pulled pork, sweet potato wedges and coleslaw
With the weather being so rubbish lately, we’ve wanted comfort food to keep us warm. We’ve got a brilliant soup maker which we love to use and we’ve made some delicious soups in it. This week we’re trying a green soup (kale, broccoli and peas) spicy butternut squash and leek and potato. If they work out, I’ll blog the recipes.
