Elf for Christmas // Review

It’s November, hurrah.. November means I can now mention Christmas and I am so looking forward to it this year. Olly is at the age where the magic of Christmas is real and I can’t wait to help create that exciting build up for him. One way we’ll be building up the excitement is with a little friend I’ve made, introducing Elf for Christmas.

Elf for Christmas

I was recently introduced to the Elf for Christmas team at Blog On MSI and I instantly fell in love with him. The  Elf (which is available in a boy or girl variety) is more than just an elf, he brings magic into the family. We were sent the Boy Elf, the Magical Reward Kit and the book ‘Elf’s First Adventure’ to have a look at and we just love him.

I’ve not given Olly the chance to build up a loving relationship with our elf yet as I want to save it for December but Olly has met Edward the elf and knows that he’s watching what Olly is getting up to and will be back for more fun and games in December.

Edward is beautifully made from quality fabrics and is just adorable. Everything about him is fantastic, he’s got the most wonderful Christmas coloured clothes on, a cheeky face and has velcro hands that allow him to cause mischief or just ‘hang around’ with the cool kids.

Within the Magical Reward Kit is a collection of items for parents to use to heighten the magic. The reward kit includes nice list certificates, mini report cards, reward chart, elf stickers, an arrival letter, letter to Santa and a thank you card. The kit has been designed for families of two children but additional reward kit items are available. All the items in the kit can be personalised so you can completely bring the magic into your home. I really love the arrival letter and the mini report cards are really engaging. I think Olly will love them.

I love how the kit aims to help promote good behaviour, Olly’s preschool have already mentioned about the Elves watching over the school children ahead of Christmas so I’ll definitely add to that and use the reward chart with the colourful stickers.

The book ‘Elf’s First Adventures’ is a magical book following the adventures of an Elf as he aims to spread Christmas fun, magic and kindness. The book is beautifully illustrated and there’s a really lovely storyline throughout the book. I cannot wait to read the story with Olly so he can have his own adventures with Edward.

Elf for Christmas

Obviously I’m only reviewing this from a parents perspective as I don’t want to ruin the magic for my three year old this Christmas but from what I’ve seen of the product and the concept of the Elf for Christmas and the Magic Reward Kit, I cannot wait to use it this December.

The Elf for Christmas and the Magical Reward Kit are available to buy for £24.99 which I think is a brilliant price for such a wonderful item. The Elf is really well made and will definitely last for many years and whilst the Magical Reward Kit will be used this Christmas, you can always re-stock the kit for next year (at additional cost available on the Elf for Christmas website).
