Checking out Bidvine

*This is a sponsored post by Bidvine

Usually when I want something done, I’ll do it myself. I’m not a great delegator but sometimes there are occasions when you just have to hand over the reigns to someone with more experience, skill or talent to get the job done. So when Bidvine asked me to take a look at their website I was really interested to have a look around and find out how Bidvine could help me.

Bidvine, as the website suggests ‘is the easiest way to find and hire local professionals to help accomplish your projects‘. It’s a place where lots of professionals sign up to offer a huge range of services. Anything goes from hiring a cleaner, a painter and decorator to finding someone to teach you how to play the piano. If you’re after someone to help you out on a project, you can ask Bidvine to send your request out to it’s registered service providers and they can come back and give you a quote.

The request process is very easy and simple to do. You answer a series of questions; what kind of service do you require, what kind of project are you after, how big a job is it, how much is your budget etc. Depending on your answers to the questions, further questions may be asked. Bidvine aims to gather as much information as possible to send out a request and then lets you sit back and wait for quotes and job offers to come back.

I requested a couple of services; the first a professional family photographer in my local area to take some outdoor photographs of me and my boys. It’s been over 2 years since we last had some taken and we’d really like to update our photographs on the wall. The second service we asked for quotes on was getting our kitchen backsplash tiled. It’s a job that has been on the to do list for the last four years and I’ve had enough of wiping Spaghetti Bolognese splashes off my white kitchen wall.

Bidvine update

Throughout the process, Bidvine will keep you informed of how they’re gathering quotes and will give you a timeline of when to expect some news. You’ll receive an estimate of how much the job/project is likely to cost, there will be a custom message of how the job is likely to proceed, you’ll be able to read a portfolio and any reviews from previous customers of all the professionals who contact you and you’ll get the contact details from the professionals to move to the next stage of the job.

The Bidvine service is free to use and you will only need to pay the service provider direct. There’s no upfront fees or costs to pay.

I was impressed with the quotes that came back and have been in touch with a couple of service providers to give me more information on the services I need. I’ve been happy with their communications and think Bidvine is a great way to get hold of professional service providers in your area. I’d definitely recommend Bidvine if you’re looking to get a job done to free up some time for yourself!

I really like this idea, sometimes it’s such a hassle to find people to do a job and this seems to massively simplify the process.

I'd love to hear from you
