Hello Monday! Where did the weekend go? In the blink of an eye, it’s Monday again and it’s time for my Meal Planning Monday post. Last week our meals were on plan but oh my word, I ate ALL the crap in the world. My emotions are a big mess at the moment. I’ve not coped very well with the new routine with my usual half an hour journey home taking well over an hour, Olly has struggled with his first week in pre-school, we’ve had tears galore and to top it off, I got my period (FFS!) so I have completely sabbotaged myself this week.
I am determined to get myself back on track and shift the excess weight that I am pretty sure I have gained this week. Luckily, or maybe unluckily, I can’t get to weigh in on Tuesday as I have to work late at school and I can’t get to another one so I’ll weigh in a week on Tuesday. I’ve got EIGHT days to get my arse into gear and sort my head out. I’m hoping Olly is more accepting of his new routine this week and my hormones will regulate themselves and my usual willpower returns from wherever it’s been hiding.

Diet Coke Chicken with Savoury Rice
Chicken Katsu Curry (from the new SW Chicken Curry book)
Toad in the Hole with mashed potato and vegetables
Homemade Nando’s with Savoury Rice and Salad
Grill Up; Sausage, Bacon, Tomatoes, Fried Egg, Mushrooms
Breakfasts are now eaten at home before the school run so I’ll be having my usual cereal with strawberries and if there’s time, I’ll try and sneak in a bacon sandwich (as long as it’s on SW plan, why not?) Lunches will be chicken or ham salads with fat free vinigarette and pickled onions!
I need to focus this week. I need to say no to temptation and drink plenty of water to fill me up. Ahhhhh it’s so easy to write but so hard to do!
