Nasal allergy relief review | #Serenz

If you’re a hayfever sufferer like me, you’ll be in two minds when it comes to the summer months. On one hand you’ll love the weather with its sunshine and long dry days and then on the other you’ll be dreading the onset of hayfever.

Serenz

Hayfever is the allergic reaction to pollen and of course, there’s more than one type of pollen so treating it can be difficult through the summer months. I have had hayfever for a number of years now and it can be really frustrating; puffy eyes, constant sneezing, a blocked nose and itchy eyes are all common symptoms.

There’s a new product on the market designed to help treat the symptoms of hayfever, Serenz.

“Serenz is a natural allergy relief product, clinically proven to start working in minutes. As the first allergy product to use carbon dioxide for drip-free relief from nasal allergy symptoms, Serenz works quickly without causing drowsiness.”

I’ve never been a fan of products that shoot liquids up into my nose, it feels funny and I usually get a runny nose for ages afterwards but Serenz is different. The product works by releasing pressurised carbon dioxide (CO2) into your nostril to effectively clean the nasal passage.

It’s really easy to use; you simply turn the bottom of the product using a supplied blue paddle to release the CO2. You then insert the product into your nostril and press the button for ten seconds and then repeat in the other nostril. It’s important that you don’t breathe through your nose when using the product so I’ve been holding my nose whilst it’s in action.

I’ve been using Serenz for a couple of weeks now and although it feels very odd it is really effective. I’ve been sneezing less and have used less tissues! I’ll definitely be keeping this product to hand during the rest of the hayfever season.

Suitable for adults aged 18+ Serenz is available from Weldricks Pharmacy priced at £19.90. It’s an expensive option to treat your hayfever symptoms but it’s effective and an alternative to having to remember to take medication.

Oh allergies are such a nightmare. I occasionally suffer from an allergy to something in the winter, I have no idea what I’m allergic to though! I’m glad you’ve found something that works to keep the dripping nose tap at bay!
