It’s only when you write weekly posts for a blog series, that you realise just how quickly the week goes and the day comes round again. It’s been a great week on plan, we’ve enjoyed pretty much everything we’ve planned for and the fridge was pretty much empty when my husband went food shopping at the weekend. I love it when that happens!
This week is another routine week for us. Both my husband and I are working, the countdown until our days off work on annual leave is well and truly on but until then, there’s lots to keep us busy as usual.
Here’s what’s on the menu this week in our house;
Chicken roast dinner with roast potatoes and vegetables
Szechuan pork with noodles
Spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread
Slimming World Chicken, Spinach and tomato curry with basmati rice
Fish chargrills with lemon, rosemary and thyme with new potatoes and vegetables
Lunches will be dinner leftovers from the night before and salads, I love chicken salads at the moment with cous cous, rice or salsa. I’m not doing very well on my diet at the moment but that’s another blog post at some point. I’m still trying to eat well on plan but it’s all the inbetween bits and pieces I’m struggling with.
When we get chance I want to do a cupboard audit of all the tins, cans, packets and frozen bits we have in but I haven’t got time at the moment as I try to cram in far too much on our weekends. I realise that sentence is such a boring grown up one but it needs doing at some point.
