When children come along, understandably disposable income takes a hit and you can find yourself hunting out the best bargains for all sorts of everyday products to make your money stretch that little bit further. I’ve recently come across the Bargain Buys for Busy Mums website which is a great source of information, full of details of the latest deals and offers available online and in stores.
Bargain Buys for Busy Mums originally began as a Facebook group (which is still going strong here with over 311,000 members) back in October 2013 by busy mum of one Jody Leggett who wanted to share her bargain finds with other local mums. Since then, the Facebook group has grown into a huge community full of members wanting to get the best from their money throughout the UK and despite the name, they’re not just for Mums. Both the website and the Facebook group can be used by everyone.
The website is really easy to use with simple navigation around the site. One of my favourite features is the ‘Our bargains’ tab on the homepage. This page breaks down bargains into categories and it’s really easy to search within the categories for the latest deals. The latest deals and best bargains categories are shown first and I expect they are especially popular.
As a Mum of a little boy soon to be going to pre-school, the Toys category is especially useful if you want to stock up on toys for school friends without having to break the bank. I fondly remember my Mom having a present stash that we could raid when we were invited to a friends party.
Within the ‘Our Bargains’ category there’s the opportunity to find out where the latest deals on nappies are which is updated daily. It’s really fascinating seeing where the best deals for such necessary items are, this would have been so helpful when Olly was in nappies over the last three years, I could have saved a small fortune! You can also sign up for the daily newsletter offering you the latest deals in your inbox.
If you’re wanting to save a bit of money here and there over the next few months with the run up to Christmas (yes, I did just mention the C word!) head on over and take a look and find out how you can save some pennies with Bargain Buys for Busy Mums.
