I thought I should do an update as to how Slimming World is going for me at the moment as I haven’t written one for a while.
To be honest there’s not much to say, I’ve been lucky really and over the last 3 weeks have enjoyed a wonderful stay in London with my boys where we enjoyed five star dining at Royal Garden Hotel, a birthday meal out at Frankie and Benny’s and a ‘just because’ meal out at Pizza Express.
I came home from London with a stomach bug which would have helped with the weight gain but then struggled to get back on plan as my appetite came roaring back and then we had a meal out at a local hotel and spa for my in-laws 40th Wedding Anniversary.
I went to weigh in on Tuesday and gained 1lb and all in all I think I’ve been quite lucky to get away with that. I’m back on plan now and with only 43 days until our holiday to Spain, I need to get my head down and shift some more weight.
Even though my weight seems to have maintained over the last few weeks and with the slight gain this week, I can feel my shape changing and I’ve been able to get in to a couple of dresses that I haven’t worn since 2012. How mad is that?
Timehop gave me a lovely reminder this week how well I’ve done so far.. 5 stone 2.5lb gone forever!
I’m determined to stay on plan this week, drink plenty of water and stay within my syns as I want a decent loss next Tuesday on those scales! As usual I’ll be updating my Instagram feed with my meals staying accountable as I go.
