Another week has come and gone, we’re nearly into May already! How fast is this year flying by? I remember when I was younger, my Mom would always say that time goes too quick and I didn’t really understand what she meant but as a Mummy myself now, I completely understand. It’s a four day weekend for me and I’m so grateful for the break, not that I’ll be resting any time soon but just a chance to be with my boys and do fun family stuff instead of work, work, work!
Anyway, here’s this week’s #LittleLoves
I’ve not had chance this week to read much at all but on my lunch break at work I’ve been reading Trip Advisor reviews about our hotel in Spain. I cannot wait to fly into the sunshine and spend a week with my boys enjoying the pool, the beach, the warm rays on my skin and a week of all inclusive cocktails and hotel buffet food.
Scott and Bailey was brilliant this week, it was the series finale and Suranne Jones has confirmed there won’t be another series. I’ve always loved the acting from Suranne Jones and Lesley Sharp. I know it’s just a drama but it does make me stop and think about all the real crazy people in this world and how the Police have to deal with them everyday. They’re pretty amazing people as I know I couldn’t do that job.
When I first heard this song, I thought the vocalist in the song was Ellie Goulding but it’s not. The song is Faded by Alan Walker and the vocalist is Iselin Solheim. She’s got an incredible voice which I very badly try to recreate singing along in the car.
Plans. This week we’ve been making plans for our family adventures into the Summer months. We’re going to be spending some time with family camping in Lincolnshire, we’ve got a weekend trip to our favourite hotel in Warwickshire penciled in as well as a day out at Legoland Windsor and Thomas Land in the calendar. Exciting times ahead!
I bought a really lovely blush and navy top recently after spotting it in Dorothy Perkins. It goes perfectly with my new navy boxy jacket and I wore it for work on Wednesday and got several really nice comments about it. I love being able to buy smaller clothes and need to remember this when I appear to be in self destruct mode raiding the cupboards.
On Saturday I went to my cousin’s baby shower and it was a lovely afternoon. It’s been lovely to see her bloom throughout pregnancy and it was nice to shower her and Baby H with gifts. He’s going to be a very lucky boy having such loving and caring parents and I can’t wait to welcome Baby H into our family.
