Child board members wanted for Drayton Manor Park

Kids Take Over Drayton Manor ParkDrayton Manor Park have opened applications for eight new child directors for its board. The theme park’s family want to recruit eight new members with fresh ideas to help shape the future of the park.

It’s an amazing opportunity for kids who know what they want to help make some very important decisions for the theme park. Could your son decide what film the new 4D cinema will show to future theme park visitors? Could your daughter pick what flavour ice cream to serve in the catering outlets?

What’s in it for the kids?

The prize includes a special gold name badge and a Season Pass giving unlimited access to the park, friends and family passes and discounts to retail and catering outlets.

Entry Criteria

If your child is Sir Alan Sugar in disguise, aged between five and eight years old with great communication skills, headstrong and confident in their decision making abilities, Drayton Manor Park want to hear from them!

How to apply..

It’s really easy to apply to become a child board member for the park. All your child needs to do is create a 60 second video explaining the following;

  • what their favourite thing about visiting Drayton Manor is
  • what three things would they have on their wish list to make their day at the theme park extra special
  • what one thing would they improve at Drayton Manor
  • tell us how their friends and family would describe them

Entries will be accepted until 23:59pm on Sunday 15th May 2016 and all candidates need to upload their videos on the Drayton Manor Park website.

Applicants are encouraged to share their uploaded video with friends and family on social media to vote for their favourite applicant. The videos with the highest number of votes will be entered into the park’s top 20 entries.

What the MD says

William Bryan, Managing Director of Drayton Manor Park, will work with the other existing Board of Director members to select which eight children will then be hired for the season.

William said: “Our theme park is designed for families so what better way to understand what kids want than to put them at the heart of our board! We’re really looking forward to seeing all of the entries and can’t wait to see what ideas the children have for the future of the park.”
