It’s a day late but I’m planning for the week ahead after the fabulous bank holiday Easter weekend. We’ve had a wonderful few days as a family and I think I could do with a break now to recover but alas no, it’s back to work for me tomorrow. Hubby has a week off so he’ll be spending some time with Olly and I’m sure they’ll have a blast together whatever they get up to.
Last week I lost 2lb so I’ve now lost 5 stone 4.5lb since August 2014 and I’m at the lowest weight I’ve been in a while. I was really pleased with that but given the Easter weekend, I may have put a little bit back on this week. I’m planning a week off carbs and follow the SW Extra Easy SP plan. I followed it for a week back in 2015 and I lose 5lb so I’m going to do it again and try and get out of this stone bracket before May, I’m 6lb away from that next stone bracket which doesn’t seem to be much but when you’re on a long term weight loss mission it’s a long haul to get there!
Here’s what’s on the menu this week, I might omit some of the carbs and swap them for extra veg but hubby will probably still have the carbs;
Ham, Leek and Potato pie
Szechuan Pork and stir fry vegetables
Spaghetti Bolognese Florentine
Hawaiian burgers and Spicy wedges
I’m at work this week so I’ll be having salads packed with boiled eggs, pickled onions and ham. I might make some crustless quiche as well to make my lunches a bit more exciting!
Breakfasts will be the usual but I’ll be having less bread. I bought the new Kingsmill crustless wholemeal bread which you can have on SW as a healthy extra B choice. Three slices of the 400g loaf are equivalent to one HEXB. It’s really nice bread but really bloats me up and makes me really sluggish. Definitely can’t have much bread anymore.
