Review: Run-Along Twirlywoos

One of Olly’s favourite TV programmes is Twirlywoos. He introduced me to Toodloo, Great BigHoo, Chickedy and Chick last Summer after watching it on CBeebies with his Nan and Grandad and since then the Twirlywoos have become part of our every day lives.

RunAlong Twirlywoos

Twirlywoos is a popular children’s television comedy programme that encourages little ones to think for themselves and it’s become a firm favourite with Olly and he loves watching their adventures.

Watch them #Runalong

The colourful characters from the TV show are now available in Run-Along Fun Sound editions which are sure to be a bit hit with their young fans. Olly was sent a Run-Along Chickedy character which runs along the ground when their hand is pressed. Not only do they runalong, just like they do in the TV show, you can also hear them say their signature silly sounds as they move across the floor.

RunAlong Twirlywoos

Olly has loved mimicking his Chickedy and it’s provided quite a bit of fun in our house this last week. Each Twirlywoos character is made from a super soft colourful plush and is approximately 23cm tall. They come with batteries already installed so you can remove them from the packaging and play straight away.

When we’ve watched Chickedy runalong the floor, he waddles along quite quickly and is best used on tiled or laminate floors as we’ve watched Chickedy fall over on the carpet which made Olly giggle repeatedly.

The Runalong Twirlywoos would be a perfect gift for any Twirlywoos fan this year and will provide giggles and enjoyment for many an afternoon.

Each character is available to buy separately and they have a RRP of £19.99.

Oh they’re so cute. Brilliant that the batteries are already in, so annoying when you virtually have to fight to get a toy out of the box and then hunt down a screwdriver for putting batteries in!
