With rain showers very much part of our daily weather here in the UK, having a good, reliable waterproof jacket is essential for little ones. You can never really tell when the heavens are going to open and you’re going to get caught in a mad shower that soaks you through. JoJo Maman Bébé sent Olly one of their Children’s Fishermans Jackets to style for Spring and having worn it last weekend when we were in Blackpool, Olly already loves it!
The children’s fishermans jacket is without a doubt super stylish. Not only is it a brilliant colour (we chose a vibrant yellow for the authentic fisherman look) with it’s contrast stripe jersey lining it’s a real eye-catcher.
The jacket has an attached hood which features the blue and white stripe lining which I really like and has double pockets on the front, perfect for a pair of gloves or treasure found on the beach. Olly wore the jacket during our trip to Blackpool last weekend and he’s already stashed away a souvenir coin, several shells and a Starbucks splash stick!
The jacket is really well made with a zip closure to ensure protection against the wind and rain and it also has a velcro storm flap to give an extra layer of protection against the zip. The jacket is said to be machine washable at 30 degrees which is great news for parents with little ones who get dirt on their jackets from splashing in muddle puddles, spill ice cream down their coats and are generally grubby!
Olly wears a size 3-4 years and it is a little big for him which is fine as there’s plenty of growing room in the jacket and he’s only just gone into 3 year old sized clothing.
The JoJo Maman Bébé Childrens Fishermans Jacket retails at £35 which I think is a brilliant price for such a stylish and practical jacket. Hopefully it’ll last him at least six months which makes it really good value for money.
You can buy the Childrens Fishermans Jacket in store at JoJo Maman Bébé or via their online store here.
