They say first impressions count, and I have to say, I agree with them. My blog has taken on a new look since the beginning of the new year and if you’re a regular reader, I hope you love it as much as I do. I wanted to create a light bright space with bursts of colour and although I’m still working on a few tweaks, I am so pleased with how it looks and easy it is to navigate through my pages.
With a couple of blog conferences already booked in the diary for this year, I knew I needed to get some blog business cards made up for when I meet brands and fellow bloggers. I got through quite a few business cards last year, leaving them with hotels I had stayed at, given them to PR’s I had met at events and passed them on to potential brands for collaboration opportunities. They’ve always served me well so when I had the opportunity to have some new business cards made up by Aura Print, I was delighted.
Aura Print are an online print specialist offering a range of services and products. They offered to design a set of printed business cards for my new re-branded blog and make a great first impression. You can design your own cards or pay a little extra for one of their designers to help you come up with something pretty fab!
After a little consultation, my double sided colour blog business card proofs were sent over and I loved the design. They used my new blog logo and I asked for the fonts used on my blog to be used too, to keep a uniform approach and asked for all the colours of the text to match with the ones I use online. I didn’t want too much detail on the back of the cards so used my mobile number, email address and blog URL figuring that anyone wanting to follow me on social media could use my blog to find out more. I love to see matching blog stationery (yes, I’m a huge geek!) so when I saw the designs for my new business cards I was excited.
I chose the Impakt Colour core 800gsm luxury business cards which features a unique coloured core. I love how thick the cards are as they stand out amongst other cards I have received. I love the flash of colour around the edge of the cards as they are different and not many other business cards have this. I chose ‘Natural Green’ as the coloured core and I love how they look.
When I received my business cards, I may have let out a little squeal. I really love them. They’re so smooth and colourful and I can’t wait to start giving them out.
What do you think?
The double sided Impakt colour core business cards that I received cost £35 for 250 which I think is a great price for such a luxury colourful card. Definitely worth the price and in my opinion, offers a really good first impression.
