Hello November, it’s a little bit foggy here so I’m going to have to dig out the scarves and hats and get my ‘big’ coat out for the next few months. It’s my favourite month which also happens to be my birthday month so whilst I’m trying to enjoy myself with little treats here and there I’m also trying to behave myself when I can. I don’t want to put any weight on but I’m so conscious that life is for living and I can’t say no to meals out with friends and family all the time as it’s just not practical.
This week it’s back to school for hubby and I’m in work after a few days off last week so the meal planning has recommenced and we have planned the meals for the rest of the week.
This is what’s on the meal planner;
Griddled Gammon with chunky summer salsa and actifry chips
Chicken Curry with boiled rice
Chilli con carne
Nando’s Lemon and Herb chicken with rice and salad
SW Chicken Kievs with salad and actifry chips
Seared Turkey with Lemon and Sage, boiled potatoes and vegetables
This weekend we are going to London to stay in a beautiful coach house in central London so we are going to have a birthday celebration for me whilst we’re down there and we’ve booked to go to dinner at a Greek restaurant with an amazing sounding menu; think houmous, greek flatbreads, halloumi and all sorts of other yummy stuff. I can’t wait. We’re also taking Olly to see Buckingham Palace to show him where the Queen lives and hopefully to see a few soldiers in their full dress. We can’t wait to spend some quality time together exploring London as tourists and just having some fun. I might even do a spot of Christmas shopping if we get chance.
