I am a big Disney fan. I grew up watching Disney films and became fond of Mickey and Minnie Mouse as a youngster so naturally, introducing Little Mr to Disney films is something I’ve been doing since he was a baby. We were recently sent the Fisher-Price Silly Wheelie Mickey for Little Mr to try out and it is brilliant fun.
The Mickey Mouse toy is a colourful, battery operated toy which allows Mickey to show off his Mouska-moves. Mickey can zoom forward and begin his stunt cycling routines with spins, wheelies and can even change direction.
When Little Mr first saw Mickey performing the stunts he was amazed. The toy is quite noisy but the sound of Mickey’s voice is lovable and the toy is great fun to watch toddlers interact with. Little Mr’s favourite element of the toy is to tap Mickey’s flag and watch him change direction. It’s a fun toy that would give hours of enjoyment. There’s three different cycling actions so there’s something different on every time you play with it.
There’s also three interactive games on the Silly Wheelie Mickey and you also sing and dance to the new “Silly Cycle Anthem” which can get a little annoying but thankfully, the toy does have an off switch if you need a rest.
The toy is brilliant for letting toddlers interact with it, it encourages movement and Little Mr is rarely still when he’s playing with it.
The only thing we were disappointed with was Mickey Mouse does tend to fall over quite a bit when he’s performing his spins and I’m not sure if that’s because Mickey doesn’t like our carpets or our shiny laminate floor.
We would recommend this toy for all Disney and Mickey Mouse mad toddlers as it’s great fun and will keep little ones interested for quite a while.
The Fisher-Price Silly Wheelie Mickey is currently priced at £31.99 with Smyths Toys.
Thanks to Fisher Price for sending us the toy for this review. All words and images are my own
