Little Mr is of the age where he’s becoming more interested in Halloween. He was far too young last year to grasp what it was about. Now the shops are full of spooky related Halloween items and Aldi is no exception. From Thursday 1st October 2015, Aldi will be stocking a ghastly range of Halloween tricks and treats, subject to availability.
We were sent a selection of treats from the range to introduce Little Mr to Halloween and he has absolutely loved them. The Halloween Special Buys range in Aldi stores include dressing up costumes, halloween boppers, glasses and masks. There’s lots of decorative items for a haunting Halloween house party such as inflatable characters, door knockers and doorbells, webs, lights and tealight holders.
The buffet table will look the part with an assorted range of partyware including tablecloths, cups, plates bowls and the serving dishes. We were sent a huge pumpkin serving dish which will look fantastic on the table on All Hallows Eve.
We were also sent a pair of spooky pyjamas which Little Mr has loved. He’s not too keen on dressing up in costumes or wearing spooky masks but he’s compromised on the pyjamas and has loved the spooky graphic on the front.
Also available in store are pumpkin carving kits and Little Mr and I are really looking forward to creating our first ever pumpkin masterpiece this year. I’ve never carved one before so I’m sure I’ll end up making a complete mess but it’ll be fun whatever the pumpkin looks like at the end.
If you’re having a Halloween party this year, you’ll want to head down to Aldi sharpish to get all your Halloween goodies before they sell out. As with all Aldi products, the prices are unbelievably good value so suitable for all budgets.
Disclaimer: We were sent a selection of items from Aldi for the purpose of this post. All words are my own.
