Through my twenties I have to admit to being a bit lazy with my skincare routine. If I’m honest I didn’t really have one but now I’m in my early thirties, I’ve noticed the early signs of wrinkles and lines creeping around my eyes and on my forehead and I really need a helping hand. I’ve heard great things about the Liz Earle skincare range from friends so when I had the chance to try out the new Liz Earle Superskin Face Serum, I was looking forward to seeing what it could do for me.
The new Liz Earle Superskin Face Serum is packed with naturally active ingredients which together when applied to the face works to transform it with radiant and youthful looking skin something I am certainly in need of. Combining three powerful botanical extracts of Persian Silk Tree, Pomegranate Flower and Rhubarb Root, the Superskin face serum claims to visibly lift, firm and even the skin tone.
I have been using the serum for just over 7 days and I’m already noticing subtle results. Liz Earle suggests that you use the serum each morning before applying your usual moisturiser. It’s very easy to apply and you only need between one and two pumps of serum each morning, pump it onto your hands and using your fingertips, smooth it all over your face including your neck. Press your palms into your skin to help aid absorption. I really like the way it glides onto the skin and it really does absorb quickly. It’s quite a thick serum and smells rather botanical which I’m not too keen on but the scent does disappear quite quickly once the serum is absorbed into the skin. My skin feels refreshed with no greasy residue.
I took some photographs (please excuse the grumpy face!) once at the start and once this morning after 7 days use to them as a comparison. Apart from looking more tired after a busy weekend, my skin definitely appears brighter and radiant looking and my skin doesn’t look at pale or pasty as the first photograph.
I’ve noticed my skin is definitely brighter and although I still have visible crows feet around my eyes and frown lines on my forehead, I’ve noticed much firmer skin under my chin and on my neck. This is one of the areas that I have lost quite a bit of weight from so I was worried that my skin would be saggy so I definitely think that the Superskin Face Serum is helping. It looks much smoother and youthful and I’m really pleased so far.
The new Liz Earle Superskin Face Serum is priced at £48 which is expensive but as I’m only using a pump full per day I’m sure it’ll last quite a while. The Liz Earle branding is stylish and sophisticated and the Serum looks exclusive.
So far I’m really impressed with the serum and am really tempted to try out some more of the Liz Earle range as part of my new daily skincare routine.
