Living Arrows 2015 – Week 32

Living Arrows – Week 32

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Last week we had the most amazing week away in Weymouth, Dorset just the three of us. We all very much needed the time away and we had a wonderful week having fun, eating far too much ice cream and generally having a fabulous time exploring the South Coast.

Whilst we were down there we spent the day at Paulton’s Park, which of course is home to Peppa Pig World (review coming soon!) We didn’t tell Little Mr we were going there until we had arrived and then he guessed where we were by all the adults wearing Daddy Pig t-shirts and little ones wearing Peppa Pig coats and backpacks!

He was ever so excited and couldn’t wait to meet Peppa and George. We spent the whole day in the park and Little Mr really loved the Peppa inspired rides. He loved being able to drive his Mummy and Daddy around on one of the rides and it was nice to let him show some independence (albeit if the ride was automatic!)

There was one particular moment that made me so very proud was when we were in the queue for a ride and a family were standing behind us. Little Mr went straight up to one of the little boys and said “Hello”. It was such a sweet moment. We then had half an hour of them chatting away like old friends and showing each other various Peppa Pig characters dotted around the queuing area. Little Mr also got a bit over familiar with this little boy and they held hands for a couple of minutes. Little Mr kept saying to us that he had made a friend and he was ever so happy.

Little Mr is desperate to make friends with other children so I’m going to look at booking some classes for when I have a day off so we can go and make new friends together. He may even be ready to head back to Nursery but there’s no real rush just yet.

Little Mr had a wonderful week away full of lots of adventures and new experiences. He really is having the time of his life!

I love how easily children make friends with each other, if only it was that easy as adults. :)

We were in Weymouth a couple of weeks ago (feels like longer!). N would love to go to Peppa Pig World, but so far I’ve held off. Hopefully he’ll grow out of it, I think it would drive me insane.

So nice that Little Mr’s enjoying making friends of his own accord. Definitely growing up. #livingarrows

Awwww brave boy! It’s sweet how they can make friends so easily isn’t it? Yet sad when we then have to tear them apart.
Thank you for linking up to Living Arrows x
