Review and Giveaway: Twirlywoos Soft Toys

    Twirlywoos

At BritmumsLive back in June, I got to meet the Twirlywoos. If I’m honest I didn’t have a clue who they were but I had a photograph taken with them as it seemed fun and then forgot all about them. Imagine my delight when I got home to show my toddler the photograph of who I had met and he was amazed “It’s Chickedy and Chick Mommy!” My toddler knew exactly who they were and was impressed.

I don’t get chance to watch much television with Little Mr during the week but Little Mr is a big fan of the Twirlywoos as he watches the new TV series, which launched on CBeebies in February this year, with his Nanny and Granddad.

The TV programme is a fun and educational show that engages toddlers with comedy and encourages them to think independently and gain confidence in their own perceptions. Little Mr is hooked and asks his Grandparents to watch the show with him whenever it is on.

Now little ones can have the Twirlywoos characters in their own home with a new range of plush toys from Golden Bear. Little Mr was sent a selection of talking characters from the show including Chickedy, Chick, Toodloo, Peeking PeekaBoo and GreatBigHoo.

Each of the plush soft toys are really soft and cuddly, perfect for little ones to make friends with. When their tummies are pressed, the sound is activated and the characters say popular phrases from the TV programme.

Little Mr’s absolute favourite has been Talking GreatBigHoo who hasn’t left his side since they met. The colours of the fabric are really bright and engaging and the fabric used is snuggly and soft. All the plush characters are a really good sized soft toy and the sounds coming from their tummies is clear and recognisable.

All of the characters are wonderful and Little Mr adores them all. I really like Peeking PeekaBoo as you can turn him inside out and hides inside the shell. I’ve been using him as a hand puppet much to Little Mr’s annoyance but it’s lot of fun.

Each of the soft toys are suitable for little ones aged 10 months plus. Prices start from £5.99 upwards and would make a fantastic birthday or dare I say it, Christmas gift for any Twirlywoos fans!
