I’ve been looking forward to this week for AGES and it’s finally here! Hurrah, this week I’ll be getting all excited for my weekend in London to attend one of the biggest blogging conferences (& booze ups) Britmums Live. I cannot wait to see my good friends and have a couple of nights away to recharge my depleted batteries whilst the boys have a fab weekend together at home.
Our meal plan has been written, the food is in the fridge ready to be cooked and I’ve even written the meals on the calendar in the kitchen as this really helps me stay on track and remember what meals we’ve got in to enjoy.
This week we’ll be enjoying
Faggots, actifry chips and veg (I’ll have SW quarter pounder beef burgers)
Sausage, mash and peas (I’ll be trying the new SW Mediterranean chicken sausages)
Diet Coke Chicken with savoury rice
Mayflower curry and rice (& added broccoli for me)
Friday – the boys are both eating at my Parents House whilst I’m partying in London
Saturday – the boys are at my Aunty’s 50th birthday BBQ whilst I’m partying in London
Last week I picked up the new Slimming World BBQ range that were on sale in Iceland. They’ve introduced 3 new products; Thai Chicken Burgers, Beef Quarter Pounders and Mediterranean Chicken Sausages. I’ve already tried the burgers and really liked them. The chicken are a bit of an odd texture but the beef burgers are delicious.
I’m hoping it’s a good week on the scales and I can get off the gain I had last week. I don’t want to go off the rails over the next weekend but I do want to enjoy myself. I’ll definitely be having a drink or two and there’s a rumour about Pizza Express too so I’m happy with that!
