Living Arrows Week 26
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Family values are important to both hubby and I. We want to raise Little Mr as an honest, reliable little chap and we hope that these qualities will remain with him for life. Family are everything to us. We love spending time with our Parents, Siblings and Grandparents as well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We believe that family should come first and when times get tough, we should roll up our sleeves, dig in and help one another, support each another and not leave anyone standing alone.
This weekend was a big one for our family. We helped my Sister to move the contents of her family home to a new house. A fresh start for her and my nephew. We helped move boxes upon boxes full of essentials, clothes, toys, and memories into a big white van and drove the fifteen minutes to the edge of Cannock Chase to her new home.
Little Mr loved the challenge of helping the grown ups. He tried to carry boxes and bags from the van and spent the whole day
charming bossing about my cousins who were also helping out. He loved spending time with them.
Little Mr loved finding new toys to play with. My nephew was spending the day with his Dad so Little Mr had unrivaled access to all his cousins toys which he absolutely loved. He read books on the lawn with Nanny and played cars in the back garden with my cousin.
It was a really busy day but Little Mr was on top form. I love that he wanted to help my Dad put together a new bedside cabinet and that he wanted to help clean the window sills with a baby wipe. There were lots of new experiences for him to soak up and learn from, and playing football in the garden with my cousin Anthony was just the icing on the cake of a great family day together!
