Review: Florrisant Womens Waterproof Jacket from Trespass

We all know how unpredictable the Great British Summer can be and this Summer I’m full prepared to embrace the sunshine and showers with a new Florrisant womens waterproof jacket from Trespass.

I love spending time outdoors with my little family and would happily spend a weekend away in our tent sleeping in a big field in the middle of nowhere under the stars.  I’m always ready for whatever the weather throws at us and will usually take far too many items of clothing for just in case it’s raining, just in case it’s hot and sunny and just in case I get cold at 2 o’clock in the morning.

This Summer I’ll be taking my new waterproof jacket with me to keep the rain out on our days out. The Florrisant womens waterproof jacket is really stylish; it’s not dull and boring with its Black Iris colourway (which I cannot decide if it’s navy or dark purple) and flashes of hot pink. There’s minimal branding and it’s a really lovely fit.

I ordered a size XXL which would fit women sized 18-20 and it’s really comfortable. The jacket comes down just above my hips and fits really well every where else. I can move in the jacket and don’t feel restricted which is great.

The Florrisant womens waterproof jacket is made from Tres-tex fabric and has taped seams which makes it breathable yet waterproof.

The jacket has an adjustable hood which is perfect for all the Summer showers that we seem to be experiencing and this can be adjusted to suit the needs of the weather. There’s adjustable tabs on the cuffs and a useful drawcord in the hem to make the jacket fit your needs. I love the zipped pockets which are great for keeping essentials, such as a mobile phone safe and there’s even an inner pocket for keeping a key or even money concealed on you for when you want the freedom to go out without a bag.

I wore my jacket during our day out to Alton Towers at the weekend and it was brilliant. I felt really comfortable in it and it was hugely practical for the showers of rain that blessed us during the afternoon. I might look a bit silly with the hood up but at least my hair was dry!

I really like the jacket and will most definitely be wearing it for our forest walks, days out and on our camping trips. I felt comfortable in the jacket and safe in the knowledge that I would be kept dry against the Great British weather. Perfect for walking the dog, family days out and more physical exercise such as hiking or mountaineering, the jacket gets a big thumbs up from me!

Price

The Florrisant Womens Waterproof Jacket is currently priced at £37.99 and is available to buy online.

I am not really an outdoorsy type of girl but this year I have started to go watch football with my bf. The type of coat I have was no fit for it at all, next season I will not be making the same mistake and will maybe try one of these out.

That looks like a really practical coat. I never seem to be wearing the correct coat for the weather, but this looks like it can cope with all eventualities! :) x

Oh Emma, you look absolutely fabulous. The coat looks lovely on you. I’m not very outdoorsy but I’ve a feeling that when we have 2 little kiddies (if we are blessed with another) that we’ll be having lots of ‘ventures’ as Alfie calls them and something like this would be perfect :) xx

It would be perfect for the school run as we all know it only rains when the kids have to be picked up ;)
