Last week I was mortified to see that I had a monumental gain. It was all my own fault and I really should have had my mouth sewn up over Easter but hey, you live and learn and that’s exactly what I have done. I have learnt that I cannot eat 3+ Easter Eggs and expect to get away with it.
I decided to get straight back on plan last Tuesday to get my head back in the game and sort out the damage. This week I have been really well behaved food wise. All my food has been synned and I’ve not gone over my syns each day. I have probably had about 13 syns each day but followed the Extra Easy plan to get back on track.
At weigh in tonight, the scales showed I have lost 5lb. BOOM! Thank you Please!
I’m delighted with that as I really wanted to get rid of the nasty gain from last week so I’ve got 2lb of that gain left to lose and then I can crack on with the rest of the weightloss. It’s our friends wedding in 8 weeks time and I’d like to be another stone lighter if possible so I’m going to get my head down and crack on with the plan, I’m living proof that it works and it works well. I’d like to buy a new dress for the occasion and get a bit glammed up, my gorgeous uni friends are getting married and I can’t wait to celebrate with them.
Whilst I was at work today, I found a photograph on my pen drive that my hubby had emailed me last year. I was shocked. It showed a very fat me sitting with my husband having our photo taken by a friend. I feel hugely ashamed of that photograph but it shows progress and no matter how far your journey its always good to see where you have come from to motivate yourself in moving forward. So here it is… it’s not pretty but it shows what a 4 stone weight loss can look like.
I’m by no means at all done with my weightloss, I still have another 5 stone to lose to get to ‘target’ or into a healthy BMI bracket but I’m in no rush to get there. At some point over the next couple of years we’d love to add to our family so I know that there will (fingers crossed) be another pregnancy to contend with before I get to target, but I will get there and it’s good to know you can continue with SW when you’re expecting which is something I struggled with back in 2012/2013 when I was pregnant with Little Mr following the ProPoints plan with Weight Watchers.
8 weeks to go, 14lb to lose for my mini goal.. Bring it on!
