I faced the music on the scales earlier this evening. I was a little worried about going but knew I had to at least face up to what the scales had to say. It’s been a weekend of gluttony, I’ve been a complete pig and I’m not proud. But I am human and sometimes, things just happen and they did.
I’ve overeaten lots this weekend and it showed on the scales. I’ve eaten things that I know will make me put weight on. I’ve eaten 3 Easter Eggs with additional chocolates (Minstrels!), a chocolate bunny, 6 Chicken Nuggets with curry sauce, a McFlurry, a packet of cookies, chicken curry with poppadoms and raita, two chocolate nests, a bowl full of hot cross bun pudding and a slither of chocolate birthday cake. Gosh, what a pig!
The scales showed a whopping gain of 7lb. Ouch!
Today, I’ve been back on plan. I’ve had fruit and weetabix for breakfast. Lunch was chicken salad with pickles followed by fruit and a mullerlight yoghurt. Dinner was peri peri chicken (1 syn) with boiled rice with mushrooms and vegetables. I’ve just exercised some portion control and allowed myself 4 Cadbury Eggs with Daim which are 3 syns each ending my day on 13 syns.
So I’ve had a set back and I’ve gained weight but it’ll come off. I’m going to have a superb week on plan and lose as much of it as I can! Watch this space….
