How are we into the third month of the year already? The weeks are flying by, hello March!
There’s lots I want to achieve over the next month but I feel its important to quickly recap how the last couple of months have gone.
January was a fresh start to the year with a renewed determination to lose more weight. Throughout January I lost 7.5lb. I wanted to lose a lot more than that but if you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that I always want to lose more weight than I do.
During February, I managed to lose 6lb so again, not as much as I would have liked and I’m all for March being the month where I hit that 4 stone loss and crack on with losing the next stone. From the stats, it takes me approximately two months to lose a stone (14lb) which I guess in the great scheme of things is probably the right way to get the weight off. I would love to be at my pre-pregnancy weight by the end of the Summer so we can seriously think about more babies, I know that my body conceived at a certain weight so I need to lose another 2 stone before I get to that particular weight. It is still way off my ideal target weight but I don’t think realistically I’m going to be at that until we’ve completed our family. Who knows, maybe I will but I need to be realistic about it all.
I’m pleased that I’ve been able to see more friends this year. My friends are hugely important to me and in the past I haven’t seen them as much as I would have liked. I have a lovely group of friends but they all live miles from me; Bedford, Cardiff, Manchester, Taunton, London, Oxford. All around the UK really. This year I’m hoping to see them lots more and let them know how much they mean to me. So if you’re reading this then I’m coming to see you soon!
Over the last year or so, my memory and organisation skills have been quite poor. I need to re-focus, write things down and get shit organised. I hate feeling like everything is everywhere and I’m missing deadlines (mostly blog deadlines) I am going to try and spend less time worrying about writing blog posts and just write. I often find myself worrying about what to write and it really shouldn’t be like that. I need to spend less time on social media too, I hate that I’m checking my phone more often than I feel comfortable with so I’m going to have some down time on that too!
Which leads me to the state of my house. It’s a mess. We have clutter everywhere, too much stuff and not enough space. It was lovely to spend a few days away from the toys, books, paperwork and general crap of everyday life so I’m going to make a huge effort to get it sorted. Sell some clothes, recycle and giveaway bits that we don’t need and get the house looking clean and tidy. I want to be house proud but at the moment, I don’t feel very proud of my house!
Goals for March
– Start the huge task of decluttering the house
– Bag the 4 stone loss award and try and get well on the way to the 4.5 stone loss
– Sell my big clothes, shoes and unwanted handbags on Ebay
– Start exercising
