The last week has been a bit of a rubbish one on the diet front. I’ve stuck to plan religiously during the day and up until Little Mr’s bedtime, then some sort of mist comes over me and I’m sneaking an unplanned biscuit or two out of the jar. It wouldn’t be so bad if I hadn’t have already had my syns but I have and I’m eating extra! I’m not even into biscuits so not really sure why I want one. I’ve found myself doing this far too many times over the last week and it needs to stop. It’s not a good habit and I need to kick it before it becomes a problem!
One of the ways I’ve tried to combat the extra (naughty) calories is by eating speed and protein foods and following the basics of an SP day, meaning no carbs, no yoghurts and no foods without the SW symbol of S or P next to them. This limits my yoghurts and my fruit (mainly banana and grape) intake but that’s not too bad. I’ve been replacing potatoes and pasta with swede and I really like it. I’m not a huge potato fan anyway so I haven’t really missed it.
The scales were on my side today and weigh in showed that I had lost 2lb so I think the SP plan versus the biscuits worked. I’ve now lost 58lb which I am pleased with especially as I got my bottom into a new pair of work trousers this week in two sizes smaller than when I started SW back in August. Woop!
This week there’s no real hurdles to deter me from staying on plan. We have our meals planned for the week and Little Mr and I have a fun weekend in the pipeline whilst hubby goes to Wembley to cheer on his beloved Walsall FC in the Johnstones Paint Trophy on Sunday. If there’s ever a game when I want Walsall to win in, this is it!
If you’ve weighed in this week, how did you do? What’s your motivation? Would love to hear from you!
