15 weeks ago I made a pledge to myself to get my weight under control. I was miserable in my own skin and I hated the way I looked in the mirror. 15 weeks ago, I walked into my local Slimming World group and little did I know that I was about to make the best decision ever! 15 weeks on, there are small changes happening.
Last night I went to weigh in to see that I had lost 1lb taking my weightloss to a total of 33.5lb (2 stone 5.5lb) in 15 weeks. If you saw my instagram pic last night, I was disappointed. I was a bit disappointed to only lose 1lb after a great week on plan but having slept on it, I woke up this morning with a renewed motivation to get another great week under my belt attempt that 3 stone loss for Christmas.
Losing 1lb per week , for a whole year is 52lb = that’s 3 stone 8lb = awesome!
To my surprise, I won Slimmer of the Week again last night. I didn’t expect it at all but was happy to accept it and the bowl of yummy fruit that accompanied it.
This week I’m trying to stay on plan as much as I can. I’ve got a couple of events on Friday which I’m not sure how I’ll manage as they involve other people managing the catering but I know what I can have and what I can’t and if there’s nothing that I can have on SW, there’s always syns!
I’m drinking at least 2 litres of water per day at work. I’m filling up my water bottles first thing and making sure I sink them throughout the day. I’m a bit rubbish at drinking water at home so will need to get into a habit of making myself a bottle of water up when I get home to drink during the course of the evening.
There’s 5 weigh-in’s left before Christmas Day and I really want to enjoy this Christmas being 3 stone lighter. It would be a fantastic Christmas present to myself so I’ve still got the (mini)goal in sight and I’ll do everything I can to get there.
