Birds Eye wanted to find out what mealtimes were like up and down the UK and commissioned top photographer Martin Parr to find out more about how us Brits eat. Martin took photographs of families, couples and friends during mealtimes to capture their meal habits and on Tuesday, unveiled his favourite photographs of the project at an exhibition, ‘A Birds Eye View’.
Meal times in our home are usually spent around the table in the dining room / play room. It’s the one time of the day when we all get together to share a meal and find out how each others day has gone. It’s typical that Little Mr will be in his highchair eating his plate full of vegetables, fish fingers and waffles and hubby and I will be tucking into a low fat healthy meal whilst watching a variety of programmes from CBeebies or the Disney Channel on the television.
The kind folk at Birds Eye have given me a Samsung WB350F Smart Camera in White (16.3MP, OIS, 3 inch LCD screen) to give away to one lucky reader. To be in with a chance of winning, use the rafflecopter widget below.
