Starting to see differences..


Another week on plan with Slimming World and I was delighted to see a loss of 2.5lb on the scales taking me down to the next stone bracket and a total loss of 26lb in 10 weeks. I’m feeling rather positive about my weightloss and I’m starting to see small differences now; my face doesn’t feel as chubby and my neck feels less fat. Ridiculous things to say really considering how much weight I still have to lose but it’s all about baby steps. However, the plan seems to be suiting me and to my delight, I also got awarded Slimmer of the Week with a fellow member! Wonder if I can get Slimmer of the Month for October? Might have set myself a little challenge there!

This week I’ve managed to fit into a pair of new work trousers in a lower size which I am delighted about. I’ve bought a couple of tops for work in a smaller size as I’m desperate to feel better and more confident in my work clothes. Annoyingly, I have a wardrobe full of clothes that I could wear but they’re too small. I will get back into them.

Yesterday I spent the day at an employment law conference in Birmingham. I knew we would be given lunch but obviously didn’t know what delights it would be so planned ahead and decided to take my own lunch with me. I also took my own breakfast as I didn’t have time before leaving home and knew that if I didn’t take something SW friendly, I’d dip into a shop and get something totally inappropriate. How glad was I that I sat eating my yoghurt and fruit when the smell of bacon baps came wafting through the door and breakfast was served. Oh the smell was absolutely divine but I knew that I couldn’t take my eye off the prize for two minutes of eating a delicious bacon sarnie as I would have spent the rest of the week regretting it. I’m totally polishing my halo to kick start the week!

I want my two stone loss award next week so need to lose 2lb this week. I’m hoping to drink lots of water (2-3 litres per day) eat less than 10 syns per day and make sure that over a third of my plate has superfree foods on it. Looking forward to the week ahead!

    Well done lovely!!! I did win Slimmer of The Month but I did have the unfair advantage that it was for July when Jaxon arrived. I am determined that one day I will win it properly. Well in theory if I have enough weight left to lose. My two stone award is touching distance away. I’ve got 3lbs to loose to get there and target is about a stone away. It’s not impossible but I just feel like I’m hungry all the time at the moment. I’m determined to work on it though. I had breakfast this morning (two banana Weetabix, raisins and milk – 1.5 HexB plus HexA for the milk. Syns for the rest. However as I’m on bonus HexA and B because of breastfeeding everything minus the raisins comes under healthy extras). Once Jaxon wakes up we’re off for a walk round the park with my Dad. If I get him to set the pace then I’ll be shattered trying to keep up and hopefully that will have benefits too. Working towards celery Apple and raisin salad for lunch so syns will be the raisins and maybe a tiny blob of light mayo but we’ll see what happens.

      P.s. I always noticed it on strange parts like having to do my bracelets or watch up tighter because I’d lost the weight there. Also I think I lost weight in my fingers because my rings got bigger.
