Review: Tribal style from JD Williams

I’m not much of a dress wearer but when I do don a dress, it’ll either be for one of two reasons; I’m on holiday or I’m at a wedding. I’m not really sure why I don’t wear them, I just don’t generally feel comfortable in them. This Summer we flew out to Turkey for our annual holiday so took several dresses with me for in the evenings when we were relaxing in the bar. I always feel a lot more relaxed abroad, I guess it’s because I won’t know anyone and I can be anybody I want to be out there (as opposed to being Emma, the one who doesn’t wear dresses in the UK.) Mad huh?

JD Williams heard I was going abroad so sent me this rather fabulous tribal theme outfit to wear;

Animal Print Maxi Dress and Lotus Interweave Sandals

The Animal Print Maxi Dress is rather different to what I would normally wear but once on, it feels lovely. It has detachable straps which can be removed to suit the model and the all over shearing makes it a good fit on top. The length of the dress is really good, it’s not too long nor too short so ideal for wearing with wedges. I would wear this dress teamed with a denim coat and wedges for an evening out catching up with friends. Prices start from £35.

The Lotus Interweave Sandals are definitely my kind of shoe. I like the height in heels but always struggle to wear them so wedges are perfect for me. The sandals have a cork effect 2 3/4 inch heel and are a lovely tan colour. I really like the straps and the sandals fit really well. I would definitely wear them again and would look great with both a dress and trousers.
