4 weeks in..

Having followed the Slimming World plan for 4 weeks now I was pleased to see that on the scales at weigh in this week I had lost another 2.5lb taking my total loss in 4 weeks to 13.5lb. I was an incey wincey bit disappointed that I didn’t lose an extra 0.5lb to get my first stone but I’m so very close!

This week has been good. I’ve been able to stick to the plan, make wise choices and even had lunch and dinner out on two consecutive days. We had lunch out at the pub on Friday afternoon; I had a salad with chicken and pepper skewers and synned the olive oil that they were cooked in and on Saturday, we went to another pub for my Sisters birthday meal. I had looked at the menu before we went and planned that I was going to have steak with salad and swap the chips for a jacket potato. I didn’t have a starter nor a pudding but did have a small slice of birthday cake back at my Parents house. Yes, you can still have cake and lose weight, AMAZING!!

The week ahead looks good. We have planned our meals until Sunday with meals such as chicken curry, spaghetti bolognese and diet coke chicken all making an appearance. Lunch at work this week will be the usual salad and I might make some speed soup at the weekend if I get time.

I’m trying to drink lots more water throughout the day. It’s typical that I drink around 3 cups of coffee or tea in a day and I’ve been trying to drink at least 2 x 75cl bottles of water in work with a couple of pints of squash at home in the evening. I really struggle to remember to drink water at home so need to make more of an effort to drink more.

So as I mentioned in my previous post, there are only 16 weeks until Christmas.. That’s hopefully another 16lb I can lose before the end of the year (Obviously I am hoping for more but hoping that 16lb is pretty much guaranteed if I stick to the plan like I have so far!) That’ll be a magnificent 29lb which is just over TWO stone! Woop! I’ll have me some of that!

    You’re doing so, so well. I’m following your photos on instagram too for healthier ideas. I’m terrible for sugary snacks which means I have the jelly belly from hell. I’m determined to change though.
