Review: Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra

As an inquisitive 18 month old, Little Mr loves to discover new things. He loves to press buttons, reach for things (he shouldn’t have) and explore places he’s not been too before. He loves to discover new toys and this week he has been gifted the Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra, which is a fantastic interactive sit on toy aimed at toddlers aged 12 months plus.

The Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra is a stand alone toy that when sat on, encourages little ones to bounce up and down. The Zebra rocks, bounces and spins around and has certainly entertained Little Mr this week after his initial shyness to try it out. As we unpacked it and put it together he stood and watched. When invited to sit on it, he said “no” and walked off. He soon came around when his cousin played on it and he wanted to try it out for himself.

The Zebra is a very bright and colourful toy with a very sturdy base providing a stable toy for little ones to play on. Once seated, little ones can hold onto the Zebra’s handlebar and rock backwards and forwards, bounce up and down and spin the Zebra around 360°. On the front of the handlebar is a spinning rattle that lights up when the music is switched on. The Zebra plays lots of fun sounds and plays 5 different songs all of which encourage little ones to play on the toy. Also on the handlebar are two cute characters which move up and down and provide another element of interest to curious toddlers.

What’s good to know..

  • The Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra requires 3 x AAA plus batteries which are included
  • The maximum user weight is 19kg
  • Easy to assemble in around 15 minutes

What Little Mr thought

After his initial shyness with the Zebra, he really does enjoy playing on it. The interactive music makes him giggle as it plays and his confidence has quickly built up. He will now happily sit and bounce around on the Zebra with no problems usually when watching his favourite television programme. At 18 months old, his feet touch the floor when he sits on the Zebra which I believe, gives him more reassurance that he’s not going to fall off it.

The Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra is priced at £59.99 and is available from most toy retailers.

Discover Your Way

Fisher Price know that all children are different and there are lots of wonderful and different ways that children like to play helping them to develop in their own time and at their own pace. With this in mind, Fisher Price have launched ‘Discover Your Way’ which is a celebration of the journey of discovery our little ones take. Fisher Price know that learning comes through fun, experimentation and natural inquisitiveness. All of which Little Mr has displayed with the Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra.

Don’t you just love it?! I just bought our 10 month old this (he’s super tall!) and is our answer to the beloved jumperoo that he got too big for. Mine didn’t come with batteries though which was a pain! #triedtested Would be lovely if you would share on the #britmumsreviews as well
