All the fun of bubbles | {The Ordinary Moments}

This weekend we went to my cousins Engagement BBQ at their home near Birmingham. We were a bit worried about the weather as storms were forecast and it looked to be a bit of a wash out but never the less, the BBQ went ahead with gazebos put up in the garden just in case it rained.

Little Mr was so excited to see his cousins and I was looking forward to catching up with the family and seeing my lovely Grandad put in an appearance after his stroke. My cousins certainly put on a good spread and it was so nice to sit outside in the sunshine (it had rained an hour before the party) and see everyone chatting, catching up and enjoying themselves.

About an hour into the party, my cousins next door neighbour popped his head over the fence and asked if they wanted to see some bubbles. Of course, children being children, they all said yes as they love bubbles and so he came around with the bubble machine and they really loved it.

Little Mr loved dancing around the bubbles, catching them and popping them. Seeing all the colours light up the bubbles as the sun light shone through them. It was brilliant. It entertained them for a good thirty minutes. We’re definitely getting a bubble machine!

We had a lovely evening and loved seeing everyone smiling and enjoying each others company. A fantastic family party to celebrate two lovely people getting engaged.
