I can’t quite believe it’s July tomorrow. We are more than half way through the year and looking back it’s been a tough year but it’s also been full of exciting family adventures and I’m grateful that we’re in a position to be able to enjoy our weekends as a family and spend time together.
This weekend was no exception. We spent a couple of nights away from home enjoying the peace and luxury of Chesford Grange Hotel. We went there for a follow up blog review (you can read my first review written last year here) with an added bonus trip to Warwick Castle but most importantly we used the time away to spend time together playing games, reading books, swimming and enjoying each others company.
When I look at these photographs they make me smile, I hope that when Little Mr looks back on them he too, will smile. Even if he doesn’t remember the times when we took the photographs, he’ll hopefully see that his Mama and Daddy were fun and enjoyed spending time with each other as a family.
We had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to spending more time with each other next weekend as we are off camping in the depths of Lincolnshire. Erecting a tent with a curious 16 month old toddler should be fun! Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain!
