FRIENDSHIPS

F is for...

This weekend I attended ‘the’ blogging conference of the year, BritMumsLive. It was an event I had been looking forward to for such a long time and although I was nervous, I am so glad that sometimes you just have to set your fears aside and go for it.

This weekend I met, for the first time ever in real life, my friend Lucy (who blogs at the fabulous Mrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter) we have known each other virtually for nearly three years and have never been able to get together before now. It was so lovely to feel so comfortable in her company. We laughed, we stayed up late chatting (both nights) and it was just really good to have someone to talk to who was exactly on my wavelength. I really wish we lived closer but with only 90 miles between us, we’re making plans to see more of each other and so that our gorgeous little boys can meet and play together that I’m really looking forward to seeing more of Mrs B in the future.

This is an iPhone selfie and won’t win any photograph awards but it makes me smile and it makes me happy!

I’m joining in with The Alphabet Photography Project over at Podcast Dove. You can check out more entries here or by searching for #alphabetphoto on Twitter.
