Review: Mum’s Party Book

I was recently sent the Mum’s Party Book to review and after leafing through the book on a number of occasions, this book is perfect for all the times when you’re planning a big party or family meal and don’t want to forget anything.

The Mum’s Party Book is a lovely hardback journal full of blank pages for you to write all your plans for the perfect dinner party, family gathering or children’s birthday party. You really can be the hostess with the mostest and have a complete record of the best party in town. The book is completely luxurious, with its silver croc finish to its silver gilted edge pages.

The book has various sections in it including Need To Know Numbers, Parties we’ve been to and Brunch, Lunch, Supper and Dinner planning pages.

One of my favourite sections in the book is ‘Parties we’ve been to’ . In this section, you can record parties you’ve been too as a guest and prompts you to complete various details including date, venue, present and even asks if you sent a thank you card.

I’ll be honest, we don’t tend to have many celebratory parties or friends round for dinner so the book is still pristine but as Little Mr gets older I hope to plan annual birthday parties for him and get carried away with planning all the party food, the decorations, his cake and the guests goody bags. This book would be brilliant for planning the Christmas lunch or the Boxing Day dinner.

This book would be perfect for all the Mums (or Dads) who love a good party and love to plan. It would also make an ideal birthday present for the Aunty in the family who is definitely the hostess with the mostest (there’s usually one in every family and mine is no exception!)

The Mum’s Party Book from Mum’s Office is priced at £16.95 and is available online from Mum’s Office.
