What I’m wearing to BritMumsLive 2014

In just under three weeks time I’ll be travelling down to London to attend ‘the’ conference of the blogging calendar, BritMums Live at The Brewery. I’m really looking forward to the event, despite being a little nervous as last year’s conference was such a big deal for me, I’m determined to make the most of this years event and be myself.

I am delighted to say that one of my favourite plus-size clothing brands, Yours Clothing, have kindly donated an outfit for me to wear so this is what I’m wearing to BritMumsLive 2014.

I love this outfit. I’m a big fan of v neck tunics as they help cover my problem areas (my mummy tummy and ample bottom) and this lovely blue and white floral tunic will help flatter my shape rather than just cover it up. I’ll also be wearing cropped jeans and pumps. I’m not a person who wears heels comfortably, so I’m sticking to these fabulous pumps to help me navigate the streets of London and the cobbles at The Brewery. Finally with the very unpredictable weather we’re having, I’ll be teaming the outfit with this gorgeous denim jacket. It’s a really lovely outfit and there’s no doubt that I’ll be comfortable and feel relaxed in it even if the nerves hit me.

For the second day of the conference, I’ve bought myself another outfit from Yours Clothing; a gorgeous coral and mint Kimono which I’ll wear with a coral vest and black cropped jeans. I’ve not yet decided on shoes for the outfit but possibly pumps or sandals.

I’m a firm believer that if you wear an outfit that makes you feel fantastic then the confidence will come naturally and this is what I hope will come through this year. I want to enjoy the whole event and have a great time looking fabulous!

If you’re heading to BritMumsLive this year, I’d love to know what you’re going to wear so leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to check your outfit out.

Disclaimer: A big THANK YOU to Yours Clothing for sponsoring my outfit for Day 1 of the event. I can’t wait to wear it!
