Scallywags and SOHO Coffee Co. at The Fort Birmingham

Little Mr and I were invited to Scallywags at The Fort in Birmingham for an afternoon of indoor soft play and I got the chance to try out the new SOHO Coffee bar which has recently opened. We were allowed to invite some friends along so met up to let the little ones run/crawl about and have a good catch up over a hot cup of coffee.

The indoor soft play area is perfect for little ones (and older children) to roam free. As soon as Little Mr was allowed to crawl on the floor he zoomed off towards the play area for a good look around. The toddlers area of the soft play is bright and colourful with age appropriate activities and soft play shapes. There’s also a climbing frame with slide (which Little Mr wasn’t really a fan of) and a crawling tube for playing hide and seek in. Little Mr and his friends all had a fun afternoon on the play area and seemed very happy to test out the facilities crawling and toddling about without a care in the world.

For the adults we were able to enjoy a hot freshly brewed cup of coffee (other hot drinks are available) in the seating area whilst watching over the children having fun. I have to admit, I’ve not tried SOHO Coffee before but found it was a really good cup of coffee which was freshly prepared for me upon ordering at the coffee bar.

“SOHO coffee is 100% Arabica, 100% organic and fully Fairtrade. The tea and hot chocolate is also Fairtrade. Scallywags also offer a range of organic shakes, fraps and smoothies
in conjunction with SOHO”

Scallywags at The Fort, Birmingham is ideally placed for when you’ve had a busy morning hitting the shops with the children in tow and you all need a bit of a break, grab some lunch or a decent hot cup of coffee. We enjoyed our afternoon and will definitely be back.
