The Gallery 174 – Weather

The weather of late has quite frankly, been completely awful. I don’t think we’ve seen many dry days since last October. We have been quite lucky with the weather in the Midlands where live with only localised flooding of the drains every downpour. Fortunately for us, we don’t live near any flood plains or rivers so have escaped any flooding but I know some people who have been trapped by the floodwater and had their homes flooded.

I took this photograph yesterday as we were out enjoying the dryness of the day. Little did we know that it was about to throw it down with rain again and we had to run for cover. The clouds should have been a good indication that we were about to get wet!

I’m linking this post up with The Gallery where there are some amazing photographs taken of our Great British weather.

Ooh I do love a dramatic skyline – seen quite a few recently. I’m hoping we’ve seen the last of them now though and that Spring is on its way :)
